SRFL Sekinan Research Field of Language was established at Hakuba, Nagano in 2003. In the next year 2004 the base was moved to Tokyo.
SRFL has kept to study for natural language especially on meaning and its surroundings. But the themes are very difficult and hard to explain through clear descriptions. So gradually the style of study has been shifted to mathematical approach that contains model making for language's inportant factors mainly related with meaning. Distance, dimension, energy and the likes have become the main themes of study.
Description has been pretty changed from the early to the recent. The early was rather intuitive and mathematics followed but in the recent the centre has been model making using algebraic geometry and the various theorems have been comapred with the factors of natural language's meaning.
At this site, the update results will be offerred to the people who are interested in language especially on language universals.
