Mt.Tateyama and mountain-foot hotel
Mt. Tateyama is one of the most famous high mountains in Japan. So many people come here in the short cool summer. We also visited in August, 2009. Scenery was so fantastic as reputation.

Alpine flower of Mt. Tateyama
As Mt. Tateyama is the active volcano, the alpine flowers are not so various at the field. The flower at the photo was blooming in the area that was filled with the smoke of the volcano.
